Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun Review:
A highly ranked and favorably reviewed all suite, all inclusive resort for adult couples. Usually a mix of young couples and honeymooners along with older couples who no longer have children traveling with them. This resort is a quiet and intimate resort with very little nightlife to speak of.
The beach is a nice stretch of white sand. The main problem is that the water is often full of seaweed and rocks. You can take a short snorkeling tour out to a huge reef with lots of colorful fish and coral.
The food is good with lots of choices. There is 24 hour room service with a wide selection of tasty items. For breakfast, there is a full buffet with all the standard items. Lunch is served as a buffet near the pool and in the Seaside Grill which has the usual grill items along with grilled fish. There is no dinner buffet. You choose from numerous gourmet a la carte restaurants (French, Asian, Italian, etc..). No reservations are required. You will get a drink and a buzzer if there is a wait for a table. The food and service in the restaurants is generally considered above average.
A review of this resort would not be complete without mentioing the very professional and courteous staff. Everyone has a smile on their faces as they go out of their way to make sure you are having a good vacation.
Try to avoid buildings 5 and 6 as these are near the generators and sewage treatment area.
