Riu Tequila Review:

A large all inclusive resort for singles, couples and families. This resort gets great reviews for its staff, food, and services. This resort has exchange privileges with the other Riu resorts in the area. This greatly expands the restaurants, bars, and acitvities available to you. The resort is also located near the shopping, restaurants and nightlife of Playa del Carmen.

Most Riu resorts have good staff members, but the staff at Riu Tequila goes above and beyond expectations. The entertainment staff, housekeepers, waitstaff, front desk workers, etc… all wear a smile on their faces and are very knowledgeable about how to help you have a smooth and enjoyable vacation.

The main downside is that it is located in the back of the Riu resort complex so there is a short walk or shuttle ride to the beach. Most visitors have no problem with the short walk because the resort is impressive.
