Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas Review:

This is a huge all inclusive resort for singles, couples, and families. The resort is beautiful with grand looking architecture and well manicured grounds. The beach is nice with great views of the Cabo area. The staff at this resort gets rave reviews for their dedication to their guests. You don’t need to tip the staff, but they greatly appreciate and accept them.

The food at this resort is plentiful, but it is mainly in the buffet dining rooms. The buffets are huge with all sorts of choices. There are specialty restaurants for dinner. You need to make your reservation for the specialty restaurants in the morning beginning at 7 am. Sometimes the restaurants are fully booked by 8 am. If you don’t get a reservation, you can try showing up at one of the two main seating times to see if there were some no shows. Try a little money in the hand if they are still booked. Otherwise, be ready to head to the buffet if you don’t get in.

As with some of the other Riu resorts, the beds are considered a bit too firm by some people. If you don’t like a firm mattress you can request a pillow top mattresss from the front desk or housekeeping staff.
