Riu Negril Review:

A large all inclusive resort for singles, couples, and families. This is a nice resort, but you will be disappointed if you expect a five star experience. The resort is in a calm bay north of the main beach in Negril. The area is nice with a sandy beach that has plenty of room for the numerous guests.

The food is plentiful and diverse in the buffet areas. The jerk chicken hut is wonderful. The specialty restaurants are decent, but they should be a lot better considering the trouble you go through to make a reservation. You have to wake up early in the morning and make a reservation at the front desk on the same day you want the reservation. There are only two seating times and most people want the early seating time so they won’t miss the evening entertainment. Hopefully Riu Negril will make changes to their restaurant reservation system sometime soon.
