Riu Bambu Review:

An all inclusive resort for singles, couples, and families with children. Riu Bambu is one of the older Riu resorts in Punta Cana. There have been some renovations lately with new fixtures and televisions in the rooms, but overall this resort is a little dated. If you need a top of the line luxury resort, don’t stay here. Expect something closer to a three star resort.

Visitors of the Riu Bambu get exchange privileges with most of the other Riu resorts in Punta Cana. This greatly expands you restaurant, bar, and entertainment options.

There isn’t a whole lot to do in Punta Cana besides relaxing on the beach all day. It is a great beach and the main saving grace for this resort. If you need nightlife and shopping options nearby, you will want to find a different destination.
