Dreams Tulum Review:
Dreams Tulum is a large all inclusive resort for singles, couples, and families. The resort is in an isolated area about two hours south of Cancun near the ruins of Tulum. If you like walking on a beach for miles without seeing anyone, it might be worth the long trip. If the isolation is not important to you, then you can get similar resort experiences closer to the Cancun airport such as Dreams Riviera Cancun.
Another reason people go to this resort is to be five minutes away from the ruins of Tulum. Before you book your vacation, look at some pictures of the ruins on the internet. Most people take a quick walk through the ruins and then spend the rest of their stay at the resort. The ruins are interesting, but not a big enough factor to base your resort choice on.
Overall, this resort is above average, especially for families. The number of kids running around probably means you will want to look elsewhere for a romantic honeymoon spot. The rooms, food, grounds and staff are all wonderful. The beach is great, but the water is a little rocky with some seaweed. You will have lots of food options with full buffets, numerous gourmet restaurants and 24 hour room service.
